"The KP Challenge includes our first race of the year, which is our Saint Fennessy 4k," Mandi Peterson, Grandma's Marathon's Marketing and Public Relations Director, said.  "It takes place March 14 right around St. Patrick's Day, so it's a festive, fun, themed run."

That race kicks off the KP Challenge.  Then there's the Fitger's 5k in April and the Park Point 5-miler in July.

"The KP Challenge is designed to gradually increase your distance, so whether you're just getting into it for the running season or whether it's your first race," Peterson said.  "You may just try that 4k distance and build from there."

Peterson said it's also a great opportunity for families to participate and that's growing with their youth pricing.

If you sign up, you get the swag from the individual races and a jacket from the challenge itself.

Registration is $115 for adults and only $50 for youth.  Click here to register.
