Ice Fishing and Winter Fun at the DECC

Those who haven't geared up for winter fun this season Arrowhead Ice Fishing and Winter show in Duluth will have something for people of all ages.

"Ice fishing is a winter sport that thousands participate in every year," Chris Navratil with Shamrock Productions says. "This show is highlighting and embracing all of those new products and showcasing them at a variety of price points to fit every budget."

Shamrock Productions helps put on the show each year. Navratil says the show features a "Frozen Basin" that features live fish. Anyone who attends will be able to fish for free and will have a chance to win prizes if they catch a "tagged" fish. This activity is open to people of all ages. A variety of animals will be on display for people to see as well. 

"There are products there that are for everybody," Navratil says.

One new vendor this year, "Minnesota Extreme Shredder," features a recreational vehicle that Navratil describes as a jet-ski on snow, but it can be used year-round.
