The show is a comic romance set on the gritty streets of New York.

Jason Broska Jr. and Addy Gray are two of the stars.

"I play a poor boy named Mickey McKee, who plugs songs for a living," Broska described. "He has big dreams of writing songs for the world."

"But he doesn't know how to write at all," Gray said. "That's where I come in. I play Betty Gold."

It features music from Irving Berlin, The Gershwins, Erbie Blake and more. Gray said it's a more lighthearted musical than others she's done in the past.

"We have a cast of like 50 kids, and 80% of them are new," Gray said.

"Hello! My Baby" premieres in Minnesota at Hermantown High School at 7 p.m. on Nov. 21 and 23. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for students. You can purchase them online ahead of time on the Hermantown Drama Club website.
