Taylor's Northland Name Game!

Taylor Dayton joined Good Morning Northland as the morning meteorologist in early August. From Snowflake, Arizona, Taylor made the cross-country trek from the Southwest with his family, belongings, and little knowledge of Minnesota and Wisconsin. (Though, he says he LOVES the snow!)

The Northland is home to a lot of towns and lakes that force visitors to say, "wait, what?!" GMN viewers submitted some of the trickiest names and we put Taylor to the test. Thankfully, he's a good sport with a great sense of humor!

Would you like to try it? Some of the town names that Taylor had to pronounce include Minong, Lake Nebagamon, Koochiching, Buhl, Chequamegon-Nicolet, Ely, and Keewatin.

Both Maarja and Taylor were good sports, although Taylor says he gave Maarja some easier names to pronounce. They include Ft. Huachuca, Nogales, Tohono O'Odham, Gila and Yavapai. Do they seem easy to you?
