Authorities are investigating a fire in the Duluth Heights neighborhood that destroyed a garage early Thursday morning.

The Duluth Fire Department says it happened at 302 W. Orange St. around 12:30 a.m. Crews arrived to find a detached garage fully involved with the roof collapsed and walls tipping in. The fire was extinguished, but the garage was deemed a total loss.

No one was injured and there was no damage done to the house located by the garage.

The Department says damages to the structure as well as the contents inside are around $80,000. The Duluth Fire Marshal's office is investigating.
