Tech Bytes: Ban on TikTok, Party in Fortnite

In today's tech bytes, countdown to a new Trump Administration ban on some e-cigarette cartridges.

The report says the ban will involve mint and fruit flavored cartridges, but will allow tobacco and menthol flavors to remain on the market. It is expected to be announced this week. Tuesday night, President Trump suggested the ban only be temporary.

The U.S. Army is banning the hugely popular app TikTok on government owned phones.

The Pentagon says the Chinese owned video app is considered a security concern. The Navy banned TikTok in December.

And Fortnite players had quite the New Year's celebration!

At the top of every hour Tuesday, a giant disco ball dropped into the game, much like the ball in New York's Times Square. There were fireworks, music, dancing, and then the came continued.
