Tech Bytes: Tech Companies & the Coronavirus, Atari Hotels, and it's the iPad's Birthday

In today's Tech Bytes, big companies are making changes to avoid the coronavirus.

Facebook and the gaming company Razer are stopping non-essential company travel to China. They're also telling employees who were recently there to work from home. Many U.S. tech companies have offices in China. South Korea's LG has a complete ban on travel to the country.

Atari-themed hotels are coming to American cities.

The video game company is teaming up with developers to build eight hotels in cities including Chicago and Las Vegas. Amenities will include so-called "gaming playgrounds," and some will host gaming events.

And happy birthday to the iPad!

This week marks 10 years since Steve Jobs introduced the tablet, calling it "magical and revolutionary." Consumers purchased 300,000 of them the first day they went on sale. 350 million have been sold to date.
