Now that the holiday season is upon us, it's time for A Christmas by the Lake CD release.  The CD supports the Bluebird Foundation and is being released on Wednesday, November 20.

There will be a release party to celebrate on Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Greysolon Ballroom.

"It's the 13th CD we've put out," Austan Lundeen, with the Bluebird Foundation, said.  "It's incredible, it's been the most amazing journey."

The CD is two discs with over 300 musicians on it.

"It's a group effort with five of us on the board, but realisitcally with this project, there's over 300," Lundeen said.  "There's so much dedication from each musician put into the project."

The CD sells through the New Year and then the process of putting it together begins again.

The party will include hors d'oeuvres, a bar, a silent auction with some amazing items, including a signed Abbey Road item, and live music.

"It's the holiday event of the season in our minds and we want to bring the community together," Lundeen said.  "The performing arts is so important not only for our family, but for the community too."

The release party is free and open to everyone.

The CD and party supports the Bluebird Foundation which strives to be advocates for high school age students in the performing arts.

"Every single cent from the Christmas by the Lake project goes right back to the students," Lundeen said.

The release party is Wednesday, November 20 from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Greysolon Ballroom.
