Bayfront Festival Park is going to be filled with art again this weekend for Art in Bayfront Park.  This is the tenth year of the art fair.

Sara Collins, who is part the event management for Art in Bayfront Park, said they have a really strong roster of artists this year.

"We pull a lot from the community, but we have people from all over the state and Wisconsin, so over 130 artists," Collins said.

There are also two specialty markets, the culinary arts market and a vintage and vinyl market.

Collins said they start taking applications to be in the fair in Decemeber and it's pretty competitive.

"The hand-crafted arts that we are able to pull in are just fantastic from woodworks, to fiber arts, local photography," Collins said.

They're chosen based on their craftsmenship and originality, but Collins said it's hard to choose.

New this year is the Wild Water Music Festival on Friday night.  They're putting it on with Save the Boundary Waters.

Art in Bayfront Park is this Saturday, Aug. 17 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sunday, Aug. 18 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.  Entry to the festival is free.
