Arrowhead Ice Fishing Show Bigger than Ever

Ice fishing season is here, so it's the perfect time to get anything you need at the Arrowhead Ice Fishing Show at the DECC.


Chris Navratil, with Shamrock Producitions, Inc., said people can expect a bigger show this year.

"We have expanded, so there's more vendors, a lot of new entertainment is going to be at the show, so it's going to be fun," Navratil said.

The Grizzly Experience is new this year and it's designed to educate people and give everyone a better understanding of the bears in North America.  

There's also a 3D Street Art Experience with a world-renowned artist.  

"It's going to be jaw-dropping," Navratil said.  "He's going to create a really cool scene and then you can take a photo there."

Eskimo will be there showing off new equipment for this ice fishing season.  

"There's some great new products out this year," Grant Sorensen, with Eskimo, said.  "The whole auger game has changed."

Navratil also showed off a keeper suit that keeps you afloat if you fall through the ice  

"There's a lot of safety items that are going to be at the show," Navratil said. 

The Arrowhead Ice Fishing Show is December 13th through 15th at the DECC  Admission is $10 for anyone 13 and up and free for anyone 12 and under.
