Winona wasn't shy in her small screen debut on GMN Thursday. She made it known, vocally, that she wants to be adopted. She's currently at Animal Allies in Duluth.

"As soon as she's out of that kennel," Nicole Facciotto with Animal Allies say, "she's just a bundle of energy."

She explains this American shelter dog loves to play with her toys and even brought one to play with on set. Along with her toys, she enjoys playing outside and going for walks.

"Once she drains that little burst of energy, (she's) super chill," Facciotto says.

The 8-year-old pup is known to be great with other dogs and kids, and will transition well into any home.

Animal Allies annual "Fur Ball" is coming up on Saturday at 5 p.m. Proceeds go toward the many programs and services the shelter provides. As of Thursday, tickets were sold out, but folks can still donate online.

If you'd like to adopt Winona, visit Animal Allies at 4006 Airport Road or give them a call at 218-722-5341. Click here to see more animals available for adoption.
