Tia is a two-year-old dog that came to Animal Allies from Texas.

Nicole Facciotto, with Animal Allies, said Tia went through heartworm treatment when she arrived Animal Allies and is still heartworm positive.

"She went through treatment and for people who don't know, you have to remain super calm for the few months of that treatment," Facciotto said.  "So Tia has a couple months of energy built up that she is ready to get out of her."

Tia loves to run, is very playful, and has been through some basic obedience training.

"Whoever adopts her does get two free months of follow-up training," Facciotto said.

Once she's out of Animal Allies, Facciotto thinks she'll be great in a home setting where she can be out and about, letting out that energy.

If you'd like to adopt Tia, visit Animal Allies at 4006 Airport Road or give them a call at 218-722-5341. Click here to see more animals available for adoption.

This Saturday, you can visit Animal Allies for a microchip clinic from 10 a.m. to noon.
