Animal Allies: Puddy Cat

Created: November 21, 2019 08:48 AM

Puddy Cat is an 11-year-old tabby cat who is in need of a home.

Nicole Facciotto with Animal Allies said she is a sweet cat who started her life out as a barn cat.  She eventually found a home, but is now in need of a new one.

"Now she's a little shy, she tends to kind of burrow in her little blanky fort in her kennel so a lot of people walk right past her," Facciotto said.  "She takes a little while to kind of warm up and get used to people, but once she does she's a really sweet, lovey, snuggly kitty."

She is a special needs cat.  Facciotto said she had an accident when she was younger and her paw healed wrong.  You need to watch her toenails and get them trimmed so they don't grow into her pads.

"She seems to enjoy other cats and as long as the kids are calm and giver her the space and time to settle in, I think she would be a great kitty for just about anybody," Facciotto said.

Animal Allies will be at the Duluth Winter Village at Glensheen the first weekend of December.  They also have barn kitties available for adoption.

If you'd like to adopt Puddy Cat, visit Animal Allies at 4006 Airport Road or give them a call at 218-722-5341. Click here to see more animals available for adoption.
