Priscilla is 15 years old. However, her loving, sprightly personality might make one think of a younger feline.

Nicole Facciotto with Animal Allies in Duluth said she may be shy at first, but quickly warms up to new environments.

"Our camp kids and visitors have been trying to get her out of her shell using toys to lure her to the front of the kennel," she said. "Once she warms up to you, she's really friendly."

Priscilla will be perfect for anyone looking for a more mellow cat.

Animal Allies is teaming up with RR Professional Dog Training and Boarding for a prison inmate program. Dogs from the shelter will go to Minnesota Correctional Facility-Moose Lake to be trained by inmates. Facciotto said some dogs that have completed the training are now back at the shelter looking for a home. Anyone that adopts one of these pups will get two free months of follow-up training.

If you'd like to adopt Priscilla, visit Animal Allies at 4006 Airport Road. You can also give them a call at 218-722-5341. Click here to see more animals available for adoption.
