Animal Allies: Panda Needs a New Home

Pandas are often described as cute and fluffy. The same could be said for a 9-year-old dog at Animal Allies in Duluth whose name happens to be 'Panda.'

Summer camp is happening at the shelter right now and Nicole Facciotto says the kids have chosen her as one of the "shelter star."

"She does fabulous with kids," Nicole Facciotto with Animal Allies says.

The 9-year-old would be a great addition to any family that doesn't have other pets. Facciotto says she's slightly overwight and a person that's willing to be active with her on a daily basis would be nice, too.

Thursday, June 20 is member appreciation day at Animal Allies. Workers will be grilling in front of their facility and will also be holding prize drawings for anyone who decides to become a member.

"A membership is just a really awesome way to support us" Facciotto says.

10 percent off adoption fees and the retail section are just two of the many benefits of becoming a member. Proceeds go toward helping animals in need.

If you'd like to adopt Panda, visit Animal Allies at 4006 Airport Road or give them a call at 218-722-5341. Click here to see more animals available for adoption.
