Animal Allies: Olive

Updated: March 14, 2019 09:34 AM

Olive is so eager, energetic, ecstatic and enthusiastic that you wouldn't think she was 8 years old. This American shelter dog would be overjoyed to find a new home. She's up for adoption at Animal Allies Humane Society in Duluth.

Before she made her debut on GMN Thursday, she was running around the shelter's play yard and chasing toys. That's according to Nicole Facciotto who works with pets at Animal Allies.

"She's been super friendly to everyone she's met," she says. "Once she does get that energy out, she does relax a little bit."

The only request that Olive has is that he be the only be the only pet in the house. Facciotto encourages anyone that visits the shelter to interact with pets outside the kennel rather than just walking by them.

"What you're seeing in there is, nine times out of 10, not what you're going to get outside of the kennel," she explains.

Animal Allies' summer camps are coming up soon. There are options for pets of most ages. Click here to register.

If you'd like to adopt Olive, visit Animal Allies at 4006 Airport Road or give them a call at 218-722-5341. Click here to see more animals available for adoption.
