8-year-old Olive was so ecstatic during her small-screen debut back in March, that she decided to come visit again.

Nicole Facciotto with Animal Allies says Olive was brought to the Duluth shelter back in February and staff there aren't sure why she hasn't been adopted.

"She is fabulous," she explains. "All of our staff and volunteers absolutely love her."

The American shelter dog is excited anytime she gets to leave the kennel and be around people. She's the epitome of energy, but can also over-emphasize cuteness with cuddles at the end of each day.

Facciotto says the 8-year-old is one of "four or five" older dogs that are in need of adoption at the shelter right now. The only preferance those pups have is being the only pet of the house.

The annual Duluth Community Bike Swap, which benefits Animal Allies, is coming up April 27 and 28 at Continental Ski and Bike. The fundraiser has "re-homed" over 500 bikes. Click here to learn more about that.

If you'd like to adopt Olive, visit Animal Allies at 4006 Airport Road or give them a call at 218-722-5341. Click here to see more animals available for adoption.
