Milo is a 'social' black cat that loves his toys and wants someone to play with.

"He's very eager to go explore and that's pretty typical," Nicole Facciotto with Animal Allies says.

Along with the common feline traits of being sweet, cuddly, cute, and sweet, Milo is FIV positive. Facciotto says it's a virus that weakens the immune system. She says however, that doesn't mean he can't live a long, happy life.

"It's really important to have a good relationship with your vet so they can keep an eye on him and his health," She says.

It's also recommended that the 1-year-old stays indoors and goes to a home with no cats or a home with cats that already have FIV. It is a transferable disease, according to Facciotto.

Animal Allies will be at the " Duluth Winter Village" at Glensheen Mansion this weekend. They'll be one of the dozens of vendors selling retail items. Money made from these sales go right back to the animals.

If you'd like to adopt Milo, visit Animal Allies at 4006 Airport Road or give them a call at 218-722-5341. Click here to see more animals available for adoption.
