Animal Allies in Duluth has a cute, cuddly 14-year-old orange tabby available for adoption. Lily stopped by GMN to show she'd be a great house cat for most households.

"She's a very mellow girl," Nicole Facciotto with Animal Allies says. "She loves to lounge. Windows are her favorite."

Her kennel at the shelter is directly next to the window as she enjoys looking outside.

Lily is hyperthyroid, meaning she has a hormone imbalance in the thyroid. Facciotto says this is easily treatable with daily medication.

"She's regulated and doing super well with the medication we have her on right now," she explains.

This cat is among many at the shelter right now. Facciotto reminds pet owners to get their felines spayed and neutered. Also, if they've gone missing, be sure to check with Animal Allies. She says that cat reclaim rates are lower than that of dogs at the shelter.

If you'd like to adopt Lily, visit Animal Allies at 4006 Airport Road or give them a call at 218-722-5341. Click here to see more animals available for adoption.
