Nicole Facciotto with Animal Allies says she's a sweet, loving dog that will stay by your side.

"Whoever takes her home is going to have a new shadow," she says.

Anyone who is book worm will be an almost perfect match for Kita as Facciotto explains she loves to be read to and relax. Overall, this dog is well-rounded and sure to be a best friend to whoever adopts her.

Animal Allies is also doing their part to help out animals affected by Hurricane Harvey. They are currently looking to clear out space at the shelter, so they are able to house animals rescued in Texas.

She says folks can help out by stopping by the shelter and giving one of their pets a home. The shelter is still looking for people to be fosters, as well.

The public can also help simply through advertising the animals the shelter has to others.

If you'd like to adopt Kita, visit Animal Allies at 4006 Airport Road or give them a call at 218-722-5341. Click here to see more animals available for adoption.
