"I say this a lot that you will get a new snuggle buddy," Nicole Facciotto with Animal Allies says, "but she is probably the best snuggle buddy."

On the flip-side, Jada also gets bursts of energy every once in a while.

"She loves to go for walks and get outside and chase toys around," Facciotto says,"but most of all (she is) motivated by her treats."

Facciotto recommends a little extra running for this sweet, loving dog. She also says that Jada prefers to be the only pet in the home as she's not too sure of being around other cats and dogs.

The shelter on Airport Road in Duluth is holding a Membership Open House Thursday from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Organizers hope members and non-members will attend to learn more about the work, mission, and pets of Animal Allies. Tours of the shelter will be given every half hour. A Barbeque and scavenger hunt are also in store.

If you'd like to adopt Jada, visit Animal Allies or give them a call at 218-722-5341. Click here to see more animals available for adoption.
