Facciotto says people that visit the Duluth shelter might miss Canyon as he prefers to hang toward the back of his kennel. He can be shy at first, but eventually becomes friendly to most. This includes with other cats, dogs and kids. The only preference he really has is being in a more calm environment.

"As long as you take it slow and give him some time to settle in," Facciotto explains, "he's an absolute lovebug."

The annual Duluth Community Bike Swap is coming up. From April 25 to April 27, anyone can bring their bike to Continental Ski and Bike on E 1st St. On April 27 and 28, people can stop by to buy one of those bikes. 75% of the money goes to the seller and 25% gets evently split between Animal Allies and Head of the Lakes United Way.

If you'd like to adopt Canyon, visit Animal Allies at 4006 Airport Road or give them a call at 218-722-5341. Click here to see more animals available for adoption.
