Animal Allies: Buddy

Created: November 22, 2018 08:22 AM

Buddy is a shy, but energetic 1-year-old American Shelter Dog. Oddly enough, he's looking for a new buddy. He was brought to Animal Allies in Duluth from a different shelter.

"He is definitely more of a reserved guy," Nicole Facciotto with Animal Allies says. "It can get a little overwhelming with all that commotion (in the kennel)."

Once he's out of his cage though, Buddy is super-friendly and loves to say hi to everyone. He loves to play outside and enjoys the occasional stuffed animal.

"If you do like to get some exercise, but have a more laid-back home, I think this is definitely the guy for you," Facciotto says.

The shelter will have some special deals on Black Friday. The shelter is also back on their winter hours:

  • Tuesday - Saturday: Noon - 6 p.m.
  • Sundays: Noon - 4 p.m.
  • Closed on Mondays

Animal Allies will also be at the Duluth Winter Village at Glensheen, which runs Saturday, Dec. 1 and Sunday, Dec. 2.

If you'd like to adopt Buddy, visit Animal Allies at 4006 Airport Road or give them a call at 218-722-5341. Click here to see more animals available for adoption.
