Animal Allies: Boots

Created: September 05, 2019 09:51 AM

A sweet and small cat, named Boots, is in need of a forever home!

Nicole Facciotto, with Animal Allies, said she likes to explore and then curl up next to people for petting, but she doesn't love to be held.

"She came to us pregnant and had her kittens, so she was in foster for a little bit taking care of them and now they're all weaned and she's ready to find a home of her own," Facciotto said.

She does really well with other animals and kids too.  Facciotto said she's in the lobby right now and loves seeing all the visitors.

Her name fits her with her white paws and gray body.  Boots is only 2 years old.

"She's really young and super playful," Facciotto said. "She's a sweetheart and was a great mommy, so now she's ready to be spoiled and have someone take care of her."

Animal Allies has some events for kids coming up.  Saturday is their Youth Allies informational meeting and kick-off party.  It's a volunteer program for grades 6th through 12th.

Their first Tales and Tails event is happening Saturday as well.

Movies nights start next Friday and will be happening monthly.

If you'd like to adopt Boots, visit Animal Allies at 4006 Airport Road or give them a call at 218-722-5341. Click here to see more animals available for adoption.
