Bjorn was brought to Animal Allies Humane Society in Duluth as a stray. His "one million dollar smile" needs a forever home.

"He loves being outside, he loves to play," Nicole Facciotto with Animal Allies says.

Facciotto says he loves to meet anyone and everyone.

The shelter helped Bjorn heal from some intense wounds before putting him in the adoption program. Money for this process came from the "Healing Hearts and Paws" fund. Now, he's full of energy.

"If you have some energy that you can dedicate to this guy, he is fabulous," Facciotto explains.

There seems to be an annual spike of stray animals coming into Animal Allies around Independence Day weekend. This is because of fireworks going off and pets getting scared. The shelter recommends keeping animals away from fireworks as much as possible and making sure their collar is up to date in case something does happen.

If you'd like to adopt Bjorn, visit Animal Allies at 4006 Airport Road or give them a call at 218-722-5341. Click here to see more animals available for adoption.
