Atomic Toaster is still available for adoption at Animal Allies.  His name is unlike any other, so you probably didn't forget about him.

Nicole Facciotto, with Animal Allies, said he's about one year old.

"Very shortly after we had brought him on, we were doing the standard blood work, getting him ready to go, and we found out he was diabetic," Facciotto said.  "We've been working on the insulin, trying to figure that out, and then all of a sudden he was like, 'I don't want to do that anymore,' and now he's in diabetic remission."

She said he doesn't need insulin anymore and is feeling great.  He's also super explorative and likes to run around and say hi to everyone, but when he calms down, he loves to snuggle.

He came in as a stray and they don't know how long he was roaming around for.

If you'd like to adopt Atomic Toaster, visit Animal Allies at 4006 Airport Road or give them a call at 218-722-5341. Click here to see more animals available for adoption.

If you're looking to support Animal Allies, Fur Ball is coming up on October 19th at Northland Country Club.  You can get tickets by calling the shelter or online.
