Animal Allies: Ash

Created: July 11, 2019 07:31 AM

Ash is ready to find his family. He's 1-year-old American shelter dog that's available for adoption at Animal Allies in Duluth.

Nicole Facciotto with Animal Allies said he's very energetic and intelligent. For the past few months, he's gone through the shelter's inmate prison program at the Minnesota Correctional Facility-Moose Lake.

"He got trained every single day on basic obedience," Facciotto said. "He has good manners once he gets rid of that initial burst of energy."

Whoever adopts Ash will get two months of free follow-up training through RR Professional Dog Training and Boarding.

"It's priceless to learn everything that they know and make that bond," Facciotto said.

The only recommendation the 1-year-old has is being put in a house with 'older kids.' Also, if the house already has a dog, bring it into the shelter to make sure the two get along.

Animal Allies has a few open spots for their summer camp program. Click here to sign up.

If you'd like to adopt Ash, visit Animal Allies at 4006 Airport Road or give them a call at 218-722-5341. Click here to see more animals available for adoption.
