The holiday season is in full swing and that means it's the season of giving. Animal Allies Humane Society in Duluth is looking to give away some beautiful, friendly cats and dogs.

One is a 3-month-old pup named Amara Grace. She ended up at the shelter from a previous home. Nicole Facciotto with Animal Allies says this Miniature Pinscher mix comes complete with a wardrobe of clothing. She sported a knit-sweater during her television debut on GMN Thursday.

"She loves snuggling and being super close to people," Facciotto says.

Amara Grace acts like a parrot at times, perching herself on a person's shoulder from time to time.

Being a typical puppy, she will need training. This includes teaching her basic manners, potty training, and walking on a leash.

Animal Allies will be closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, but they'll be operating normal business hours until that time. In addition, they'll be posting 2019 dates for puppy preschool classes soon.

If you'd like to adopt Amara Grace, visit Animal Allies at 4006 Airport Road or give them a call at 218-722-5341. Click here to see more animals available for adoption.
