Animal Allies: Alana

Created: October 10, 2019 09:46 AM

Alana is a beautiful, brown tabby cat up for adoption at Animal Allies.  She is about 5 years old and came from a previous home.

Nicole Facciotto, with Animal Allies, said she was pretty shy when she first arrived and tended to hang out towards the back of her kennel.

"She's kind of now just started to try to get you to say hi to her," Facciotto said.  " She loves her chin scratches."

She said once Alana warms up to you, she's pretty snuggly.

"She's actually said to do well with kids as long as they're calm and respectful," Facciotto said.  "But definitely kind of wants to be the queen of the house, would probably prefer to be the only kitty running around."

If you'd like to adopt Alana, visit Animal Allies at 4006 Airport Road or give them a call at 218-722-5341. Click here to see more animals available for adoption.

If you're looking to support Animal Allies, Fur Ball is coming up on October 19th at Northland Country Club.  You can get tickets by calling the shelter or online.

They also have a Pups and Pints event this month in honor of Pitbull Awareness Month.  Animal Allies partenered with the Miller Hill Seven West location and all month long some brewers are donating a dollar per pint.  They're selling tshirts as well.
