All across Minnesota, deer hunters have packed their blaze orange in preparation for the 2017 Minnesota Deer Hunting opening weekend. The Eyewitness Storm Team has been working hard to develop a forecast that will help hunters track the deer. The opening weekend of the 2017 Minnesota Firearms Season will be a wet one.
Snow and rain fell across much of the region Friday night through Saturday. With the heavier amounts for the Iron Range and International Border. High temperatures made it to the mid-30's Satuday.
Light precipitation will linger overnight on Saturday, but clearing skies will begin to move in. We should have a break from the precipitation, as the sun makes an appearance on Sunday. Winds will be out of the Northwest. Temperatures will reach the mid-30's, then drop as the day moves on.
