Our day of sunshine will come to an end as the weather pattern is going to shift and bring us a wet weekend.  Showers will again move back into the region beginning tonight.  A rather robust piece of energy will impact the Northland this weekend.  Some warm-moist air will advance northward ahead of this piece of energy and create unseasonably warm air across the region.  There is an outside threat some parts of Wisconsin could reach the mid to upper 80s Friday.  A front will tap into to this moisture Friday night into Saturday and bring some heavy rainfall and thunderstorms.  Hail and lightning look to be problem again.  The worst hit areas look to stay no across the Iron Range and International Border.  Rain stays with us through the weekend as this front doesn’t move much.  There is the potential for some areas to see some flooding by the time the weekend is over.  Again the biggest threat will likely be up north.
