UMD Picks Up First NCHC Sweep of the Season at Colorado College

After a 6-5 victory on Friday night, the University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) men's hockey team earned the series sweep on Saturday defeating Colorado College by a final score of 5-1. This marks the Bulldogs first National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC) sweep of the season.

UMD was led by Kobe Roth who scored two goals in the victory on Saturday night marking just his second and third goals on the season. Roth's first goal of the season came in Friday's game.

Nick Wolff, Parker Mackay, and Billy Exell each added a goal a piece to fuel the Bulldogs offensive attack.

Hunter Shepard earned 18 saves in the victory.

The win puts UMD at a 11-9-3 record on the season. The University of North Dakota will make the visit to Duluth next weekend for a two-game series beginning Friday.
