Despite Early Lead, Spartans Fall in OT

Superior's Tucker Stamper got the Spartans out to a 1-0 lead after the first period, but Eau Claire North rallied to force overtime and eventually get the 4-3 victory.

Max Plunkett and Taylor Burger scored the other two goals in the loss for the Spartans.

Superior falls to 11-4 on the season. The Spartans will host Hibbing/Chisholm on Tuesday, Jan. 16.
