#1 North Woods, #6 Brooklyn Center, Hibbing Pick Up Wins at MLK Jr. Classic

Fourteen boys prep basketball teams were featured in the Martin Luther King Jr. Classic prep hosted by Duluth East on Saturday.

#1 North Woods remained unbeaten on the year on Saturday after defeating #3 Nevis 53 to 39.

Following that game, #6 Brooklyn Center held off a late comeback attempt defeating Esko 71 to 68.

In the night cap, Hibbing defeated Duluth East 49-42 in overtime.

This was the fifth consecutive year that the one-day classic has taken place.
