The celebration kicked off with the alumni hockey game that featured players from the very first Mirage team. A reunion followed the festivities on the ice and many said it was just great seeing old friends.

"Honestly with the three schools that were combined at the time, I have made some of the best friends in my life," said 2004 graduate, Allie Hom.

"It's almost like you don't skip a beat when you're having conversations. We still laugh about the same things, we still laugh about the same jokes. Just to have those memories," said 2006 graduate Whitney Olson.

"You look back at the beginning of program and you could see it was building and building. It's been pretty successful the last few years. This years team is working hard to live up to that," said Proctor/Hermantown head coach Glen Gilderman.

Alumni who came to visit also say it's great seeing how the program has developed. The current team is ranked 10th in Class A.
