Bulldogs Remain #3 in Division I Men's Poll

Duluth, Minn. - The UMD men's hockey team remains in the third spot in the Poll for the fourth straight week.

The Bulldogs, who sport a 25-6-7 overall record and are a fresh off winning the 2017 National Collegiate Hockey Conference Frozen Faceoff title, accumulated 933 points and eight first-place vote in the latest rankings. The University of Denver, which placed first in the NCHC standings (seven points ahead of UMD), remained atop the Poll for the fourth straight week with 958 points and 24 of the 50 first-place votes. 

UMD, which has occupied the Poll's top position for a program-record 11 weeks thus far in 2016-17, will face Ohio State University this Friday night in the NCAA West Region semifinals at Scheels Arena in Fargo, N.D.
