Video: Cade Goggleye Beats the Buzzer From Beyond Half Court as North Woods Advances to State A Semis

Minneapolis, Minn. - Every second mattered in the Minnesota State A Boy's Basketball Quarterfinal between North Woods and third-seeded Central Minnesota Christian.

North Woods was up 51-49 with six seconds to go when Central Minnesota Christian inbounded the ball and Ethan Brouwer scored underneath to tie the game at 51. But the game wasn't over and with about a second left, sophomore guard Cade Goggleye of North Woods released a shot from behind the half-court line and MADE IT as North Woods wins 54-51.

2017 marks the first ever trip to the state boy's basketball tournament for North Woods. The Grizzlies now advance to the State A Semifinals on Friday and will face second-seeded Goodhue at 2:00 p.m. at Target Center. The game will be televised in the Northland on WDIO DT2/MeTV.
