Duluth Marshall Wins Blackwoods Open Summer Hockey Tournament

On Sunday the Duluth Marshall boys' hockey team defeated St. Cloud Cathedral 5-2 in the championship game of the Blackwoods Open summer hockey tournament.

Cathedral got on the board first, but the Toppers responded quickly. Carter Sullivan tied things up in the second period. Then, George Grannis used his shifty puck movement to knock in goal number two. Grannis assisted goal number three where John Robich tapped one in near the front net.

The tournament took place at Mars Lakeview Arena.
