Depth a Strength for #2 Duluth East as Greyhounds Gear Up for Season Opener

Duluth, Minn. - They've yet to suit up this season, but when the Duluth East Greyhounds take the ice for thir first game, they'll do so as the second ranked team in Class AA and depth is a big strength for them.

"We got a lot of people coming back and we really only lost a couple guys," says senior defenseman Will Fisher.

"We always have a target on us and we know that and we embrace it and try to get better every day," says Head Coach Mike Randolph.

Randolph is approaching 600 career wins. He is at 597 going into Friday's opener at 10th ranked White Bear Lake. The Greyhounds host 11th ranked Wayzata on Saturday.

Recently, senior defenseman Luke LaMaster announced his verbal commitment to play Division I College Hockey for the University of Wisconsin.

Duluth East has reached the championship game in their section the past two seasons.
