Duluth East Tops Bemidji in Extra Innings

Duluth East was a part of the Des Sagedahl Wood Bat Classic hosted in Bemidji on Friday.

After a scoreless first inning, Jack Payette would rip one to centerfield to get the Greyhounds on the board first.

Blake Bergquist hit the game winning double to bring in Carter Peterson for the Greyhounds to take the 5-3 victory over Bemidji in eight innings.

Duluth East improves 10-6 on the season. These two teams will meet again on Saturday at 12:30 P.M. to wrap up the invite in Bemidji.
