Duluth, Minn. - After two games on the road, the St. Scholastica football team gets to stay in Duluth this weekend as they'll host Westminster in their home opener. CSS is 1-1 overall, but they're 1-0 in the UMAC after a 47-27 win at Greenville. Sophomore quarterback Zach Edwards threw for three touchdowns and rushed for another in the win.

"We were able to go out there and play some football like we wanted to and a great bounce back week and we were able to put some things together and I was able to find some open receivers and the offensive line played well as well, " said Edwards.

The win comes just a week after CSS's 98-0 loss at St. John's. Edwards has some tattoos on his left arm, including an eagle, which has family meaning and honors a cousin who recently passed away. Edwards hopes to help the Saints soar on Saturday. He'll get the start under center. The Blue Jays are also 1-1 overall and 1-0 in UMAC play.

"They are pretty darn talented, they have a really good corner and a transfer tailback from a division one program, so we will have our hands full and have to play well," says Head Coach Kurt Ramler.

The game is scheduled for Saturday at 12 p.m. at Public Schools Stadium.
