Five Different Lumberjacks Earn Goals, C-E-C Shuts Out Spring Lake Park

The Cloquet-Esko-Carlton girls' hockey team had five different goal scorers in the 5-0 victory over Spring Lake Park on Saturday.

Jaxie Pogorelc got the Jacks on the board in the first period and put them up 1-0 heading into intermission. Kiana Bender then added the lone goal in the second period. In the third period, Jenna Zdebski, Dea DeLeon, and Taylor Nelson each tacked on a goal of their own to keep the Lumberjacks rolling.

Elise Lund earned 7 saves in the victory.

The win marks CEC's first win on the season. They sit 1-2-1 on the season. They'll host Grand Rapids/Greenway Tuesday, Nov. 28 at 7:00 P.M.
