1 Hospitalized in Skyline Parkway Shooting

One man was hospitalized after a shooting incident on Skyline Parkway Sunday evening.

Duluth police responded to the area around the 3200 block of West Skyline Parkway, also known as "The Wall," just after 8 p.m.

According to police, a 24-year-old male victim had been shot and was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

As of 11 p.m., law enforcement had closed the area and were searching for suspects connected with the incident, according to Duluth police spokesman Ronald Tinsley. A K-9 unit assisted in the search as well as law enforcement from St. Louis, Carlton and Douglas, Wisc. counties.

Duluth Police investigators do not believe the shooting is a random act at this time.

Authorities are still investigating.
