DULUTH - Duluth's old city hall building has been filled with sound, and it’s not the sound you're thinking about.

“Sound” is a new restaurant that opened Tuesday on Superior Street. It's located in the space formerly occupied by Tycoon's and The Blind Pig.  The restaurant serves a variety of small plates featuring seafood and meats. There’s plenty of burgers, sandwiches, and vegetarian options to choose from.

Chef Patrick Scot Moore is in charge of the diverse menu.

"I think that all the dishes will be popular. I think in Duluth we need a place where we can go eat small plates, have a bunch of different tastes, different flavor profiles from all around the world, and just really step up the food scene here," Moore said.

Sound also has a bar and will feature a variety of musical performers each month. G-Love is performing Tuesday at 8:30 p.m.

Costumers at Rathskeller, which is located in the basement of the old city hall building, will be able to order food from the restaurant soon.
