It's called the Red Kettle Challenge and anyone can participate.

If you ring three or more two-hour shifts, you get a pair of tickets to a Duluth Huskies baseball game in 2018.

The group, business, or organization bell ringing for the greatest number of shifts will receive four VIP box seats to a UMD Bulldogs hockey game and a trophy.

"We encourage people to dress up, we encourage people to have a good time with it," Bryan Ellison, Duluth Salvation Army's Commanding Officer, said.  "It's something that you can do as a family, what really makes a big deal is if you brought an instrument."

They have 18 different Red Kettle locations around the area.  You can register to ring online here or call 218-722-7934.
