Saginaw Man Dies in ATV Accident

SAGINAW, Minn. - A 58-year-old man died in an ATV accident Wednesday.

It happened around 3:30 p.m. near the 5400 block of Bear Trap Road.

The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office says the driver was thrown from the ATV. He was unconscious and suffered severe head injuries. Despite life-saving efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities have identified him as Gregry Gundy from Saginaw. The sheriff's office says the cause appears to be human error, and Gundy was not wearing a helmet.
