Residents Safe After House Fire North of Chisholm

All residents are safe after a house fire on the 6900 block of Hwy 73 north of Chisholm, the Northland FireWire reports.

Chisholm Fire Chief Bob Brown told the Northland FireWire all residents and pets were able to get out safely. 

It was called in around 4:30 p.m., and the house has extensive smoke damage. 

According to the FireWire, firefighters from Chisholm, French Township, Evergreen, Buhl and Kinney-Great Scott helped on the scene.

The cause is under investigation.
