The two girls, age 12 and 14, are from the Deer River area and had last been seen at home on Tuesday at approximately 5:30 a.m.  Police say a note believed to have been left by the girls indicated their intentions to run away.

The sheriff's office said Wednesday afternoon that the teens were found by local authorities.  They thanked the public for their help in the search.
