Still No Answers in Murder of 71-year-old Iron Range Woman

Investigators are trying to piece together who killed Courtney Lee Fenske. The 71-year-old woman was found dead in her home last week. She lived just southeast of Hibbing on Townline Road. .

According to the St. Louis County Sheriff's department, Fenske was found in her home when she was being checked on to see about her welfare.

Her body was found Wednesday, November 29th. Investigators believe she had died a few days earlier, sometime between Sunday, November 26th, and Monday, the 27th. 

No one is in custody at this time. The Sheriff's office and the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension are working together on the investigation.

Anyone who saw anything, has any information, or had any contact with Fenske is urged to call 911.
