"We took him out to dinner in the cities at a steakhouse, me and my brother did," Mari Hazem said.

Her father, Jeff Harris, died less than two weeks later in a motorcycle accident.

"He would give you the shirt off his back and there's not anybody that didn't meet him that didn't love him, because he was a great guy," Hazem said.

Before her dad passed away, he had one request.

"My dad said if I can't use it, give it to someone who can," she said.

Because of organ donation, her dad's heart saved Chad Winegard's life.  Then Mari reached out to him.

"We met two years to the day when my dad died," Hazem said.

When she got engaged to Ahmad Hazem, she invited him to the wedding and asked him a favor.

"Tim McGraw had that song 'My Little Girl' and that was always my dad and my's song. That was his ringtone when he would call me," Hazem said.  "So I said to my dad,  'This is the song we're going to dance to when I get married' and he was like, 'Sure is.' And I still wanted to be able to have that dance."

"This is just an experience that when a lot of people, they lose a parent, they won't get to have and my dad, a part of him was still with me on my wedding day," Hazem said.

She was able to share the father-daughter dance, with the man who got her father's heart.

"It's just amazing to hear that that's the heart that I remember falling asleep to as a little girl, listening to. I was like that's still my dad," she said.

It's a moment she says will help her heal.

"Theres not a day that doesn't go by that I don't think about my dad and I don't miss my dad," Hazem said.  "It meant a lot. It was huge for closure"
